YoungLA in Bangladesh — The Fits, Fabrics, and How to Size

LA streetwear that survives a Dhaka leg day. A full guide to the YoungLA catalogue we stock — fits, fabrics, character collabs, and sizing.

YoungLA is the brand most Bangladeshi lifters discover first and stick with longest. It's bodybuilding-coded streetwear out of Los Angeles, designed by people who actually train. The muscle tee is the gateway piece. The pants are what keep people in the catalogue.

Here's the field guide to what we stock and how to wear it.

01. The muscle tee — the gateway

The YoungLA muscle tee is the single piece responsible for getting most lifters into the brand. Wide-cut neck, dropped armhole, fabric that drapes off the deltoid without sliding.

What makes it work:

This is the piece you'll wear three days a week for two years. Buy in two colours.

02. The pants — the underrated workhorses

YoungLA's pants are quietly the brand's best category. The camo pants and Knight wide-leg pants are the two we sell the most of.

What sets them apart:

The Knight wide-leg is for streetwear-leaning lifters. The camo pants are the everyday workhorse. The Dark Knight pants sit in the middle — tapered, charcoal-coded, the most-wearable-outside-the-gym option.

03. The character jerseys

YoungLA's character collabs are the third pillar. Comic, anime, fight-coded prints.

These are not compression. They're heavier-weight fitness wear designed to be looked at. Buy one if it speaks to you. Don't try to own all of them.

04. The compression piece

YoungLA's Superman compression is the brand's strongest entry into the compression category. Paneled, sublimated print, four-way stretch — built to the same spec we cover in our compression buyer's guide.

It runs a touch larger than Breathe Divinity compression. If you're between sizes between the two brands, size down on YoungLA before you size down on BD.

05. Sizing — the rule that works

YoungLA runs true to American sizing, which means it runs one size larger than most BD streetwear charts.

If you're 70kg and 5'9", you're a Small in muscle tees and a 30/Medium in pants. If you're 85kg and 5'11", you're a Medium in muscle tees and a 33/Large in pants. The chart on each product page confirms.

06. Three pieces, eighty percent of a wardrobe

If you only owned three YoungLA pieces, they would be:

  1. Muscle tee in a colour you'll actually wear (black, charcoal, or stone — not the bright drops)
  2. Camo or Knight wide-leg pants — depending on whether you want training-coded or streetwear-coded
  3. One character jersey — for the days you want to be seen

That's the formula. Everything else is taste.

07. Authenticity check

YoungLA is one of the most-counterfeited fitness brands in South Asia. Three checks before you trust a piece:

  1. Inside tag — laser-etched or screen-printed in YoungLA's house font, not glued on.
  2. Stitching colour — matches the body fabric on real pieces, runs off-colour on fakes.
  3. Fit on you — fakes are always slightly off in the armhole and inseam. Once you've worn the real thing, you can feel the difference.

Every YoungLA piece we ship comes from verified channels. If you see a tub-cheap "YoungLA" muscle tee on a marketplace listing — it's not.
